A store in preparation, a journal to explore now
Abaya Store is preparing an online abaya platform at abayastore.ae. We are onboarding brands and distributors before opening shopping to customers. While the store takes shape, our journal introduces abaya styles, cultural context and practical ways to choose and wear garments.
The guides are written for people exploring abayas in the UAE and wider GCC, including those buying their first piece and those refining an existing wardrobe. Shopping and checkout are not available yet, and we have not announced a launch date.
What you will find here
Our guide library covers the construction of different abaya styles, a cultural introduction, fabric vocabulary and measurement advice. The blog applies those foundations to everyday questions such as layering, work outfits, special occasions and garment care.
We aim to make each page useful on its own, with related reading where another article can answer the next question. We do not use product prices, customer reviews or stock claims for a collection that has not launched.
Our approach to information
Cultural articles link to relevant museums or institutions where their accounts inform the text. Practical styling suggestions are options rather than universal rules. Fabric descriptions, fit and care vary by garment, so the maker’s measurements and label remain essential. Our articles do not claim first-hand product testing or specialist textile certification.
