Ask for the composition, lining and care instructions. If opacity matters, request a daylight view or a description of the layers used in the photographs. Ask whether the sleeves are lined separately from the body. A fabric trade name or the word premium is not a technical specification.
Check close-ups of seams, cuffs, fastenings and any decoration. Movement footage can help you understand drape, though it still cannot show exactly how the garment will feel on you.
Read the seller’s practical terms
Review delivery destination, expected dispatch timing and the full amount shown before payment. Confirm return conditions, time limits and the process for raising a problem with that seller. Ask how made-to-order work or alterations affect the available options. These details vary, so this guide does not substitute for the terms attached to your order.
If you are buying for an occasion, leave time to check the item on arrival rather than treating the expected delivery date as your event deadline.
Compare value using your own priorities
